Providing the raster information with sixel data
Hello,
Providing the raster attributes (image size, specifically) with the sixel data can speed up the rendering of sixel images. The raster information is optional but seems to have precedence. See: https://vt100.net/docs/vt3xx-gp/chapter14.html
IMHO, this is important because the jexer's engine seems to be rendering the sixel images on a per-line basis (Which is OK, but frankly, having multiple image parts combined to create a single image seems to be an inefficient way. Reason: Parsing, image creation, and rendering when combined repeatedly, can be costly) Modern terminal emulators may prefer to use image caches, canvases and clipping to render a single/block image effectively and imitate the original behavior.
Best regards,
