Automatic App Updates improvements

Hi,

I have different devices running LineageOS 15.1 and 16 and on all of them I don't get Aurora to automatically update my apps. Aurora Services is installed and running on all of them. I also deactivated LOS battery optimization for Aurora Store and Aurora Services on all devices. The settings are all the same:

Installation method: Aurora Services
Auto install APKs: enabled
Updates interval: Daily
Enable auto updates: enabled
Show notifications: disabled (because I want to have updates going silently in the background)

Did I miss some important setting? Having auto updates like in F-Droid is important to me as my parents and grandparents never update their Apps actively because they are afraid of breaking something. So every time I see them there are many outdated apps on their phones.

If you need some more information on my config I'm willing to provide them. Thanks for your help! :)

I have enabled notifications and Android permissions are allowing notifications but I never receive any kind of notification when new app updates are available.

It also seems to be that it only checks for updates whenever I open the application while I have configured it to check for updates on a daily basis.

What am I missing here?
