Root installer in "Work Profile" also installs apps to main profile
The context here is:
FairPhone 4, running de-googled and rooted LineageOS 22.2.
Got Shelter from F-Droid to set up a Work Profile to be used as a bit of a sandbox.
Installed Aurora Store only into the work profile. But as for the install method, the "Root installer" was chosen.
Now, when installing applications from Aurora Store, two copies of the application get installed. One into the main profile and one into the work profile.
So after installing any application, I have to go into main profile and delete the application that got installed in there. The exact point of the sandbox is that it contains the proprietary applications from Google Play. I'm not going to run applications from Google Play in my main profile, only open source applications go in there.
Not only when installing. The duplication also happens when updating an application in the work profile. Update goes through fine, but again, a copy of the application appears in the main profile.
I would assume that this has something to do with root access.
Is there any way to make Aurora Store recognise that it is sandboxed into the work profile, and therefore intentionally limits installation of applications only into that profile, despite having access to whole phone?
