Simple, non-root option for background installation
I appreciate the latest update simplifying the update process, and that some legacy options have been deprecated. Good work guys!
Of the options on the wiki, the Session Installer manages to update apps (and the new notification about user input is a welcome change!). However, it still means taking input from the user and sometimes this means tapping 'Update' twice (?) before the prompt appears to install the update. This has happened to me across multiple Xiaomi phones and it's difficult to reproduce or explain.
The Shizuku Installer seems like a good workaround to allow background installations. However, to start via wireless debugging on a Xiaomi phone means enabling USB debugging (Security options). As of HyperOS (and probably previous iterations of MIUI), enabling this setting requires the user to sign up for a Mi Account.
Ideally, it would be possible to tap 'Update All' and have apps downloaded then installed with no input from the user, and no account required. This may be unique to Xiaomi/MIUI/HyperOS--unsure about other manufacturers.
tl;dr: non-root, seamless background updates, ideally built into Aurora Store itself.
