Long-distance teleporting of threat-mechanic revenants if the player got away from them and reenters the wildy
What I did: Got a threat revenant, around the Giant Bat area. Got away from it (in this case, by dying). Used the Edgeville lever to teleport to Deserted Keep, although I could also reproduce the issue by just running north from Lumbridge (on the test server, my revenant materialized into existence when I made it to level 19 wildy).
What I expected to happen: Nothing, since according to the information provided in the update announcement, the threat revenant is supposed to follow me along stairs, caves, etc - but not necessarily teleport hundreds of tiles well outside of its field of view.
What actually happened: Upon completing my teleport, the game teleported my revenant right next to me. I understand how this happens from a code perspective, but it doesn't make sense from the in-game perspective of revenants following me up and down stairs/ladders/caves, since the rev did not walk from Lumbridge to Edgeville with me.
I don't know if this is an issue with the mechanic, or just with the information that we got about the mechanic.
