OH Arch:
Support for i686 will [cease]( in November 2017. Yes, I have a [netbook]( :-/
This was a trigger to start a new Linux distributions tries considering:
- Go development
- Docker
- Emacs
- Stumpwm
- Conkeror
- Google chrome and Chromium
- 386 and amd64
- Lightweight
- Easy to keep
- Easy hacking
- Packages available
- Last version applications(bleeding on the edge)
- etc...
Then I found [Void Linux](
Void is a general purpose operating system, based on the monolithic Linux® kernel. Its package system allows you to quickly install, update and remove software; software is provided in binary packages or can be built directly from sources with the help of the XBPS source packages collection.
It is available for the Intel x86®, ARM® and MIPS® processor architectures; Software packages can be built natively or cross compiling through the XBPS source packages collection.

The installation is very easy by following the `void-installer` and posts at Void Linux [Wiki]( After the OS base installed, my configurations are installed by ``.
I will, post how to do that in the next post. For now:
