Reading both of your experiences makes me think small teams really benefit from tools that don’t try to control the workflow too much. Every time I’ve seen a team drown in productivity apps, it’s because the software dictated the process instead of the other way around. Sounds like the simpler setups — boards, shared docs, and quick notes — end up being more sustainable in the long run. I’m taking notes for my own group.
