This does not work with sensor 27c6:532d, can you confirm?
After all the steps, successfull, I get
➜ ~ fprintd-verify
Impossible to verify: GDBus.Error:net.reactivated.Fprint.Error.NoSuchDevice: No devices available
➜ ~ fprintd-enroll
Impossible to enroll: GDBus.Error:net.reactivated.Fprint.Error.NoSuchDevice: No devices available

I think this driver only works for the following models:
- 27c6:538c
- 27c6:533c
- 27c6:530c
- 27c6:5840
Unfortunately your model is not supported by this driver. I will update the installation guide with the supported models. There are efforts to get other models working as well. See https://discord.gg/6xZ6k34Vqg

@Ayamu Thanks a lot for this! It works perfectly on my Dell Precision 5560. However, I also had to install the
libgudev-devel
package as I was getting the following error at themeson compile
stage:meson.build:228:12: ERROR: Problem encountered: udev is required for SPI support

@ayoisaiah you will need to run the following to fix that:
sudo dnf install systemd-devel libgudev1-devel

💬 @mveplusNo, extra on work on
Fedora Linux 39 (Workstation Edition)
. It worked out of the box on Dell Precision 556027c6:63ac
. All components were pre-installedlibfprint-1.94.5-3.fc39, fprintd-1.94.2-8.fc39
. Had an issues as I previously used the fingerprint reader in another OS - there were enrolled fingers. Initiallyfp
was getting enrolled okay, but removed due to error after verification. Had to remove all old data in the sensor this worked Benjamin's script - thanks!!Edited by m.lambev
